After introducing the Vitality program, John Hancock Life Insurance expanded its offering to include the addition of a HealthyFood program that rewards people for making healthy food purchases as part of their daily lives.
Research from the Tufts Friedman School showed that education and knowledge can only go so far—but when paired with financial incentives for making healthy food choices, people are more likely to consume healthy foods.
For an extra dose of inspiration, chef and restaurateur Tom Colicchio stopped by the John Hancock Vitality Marketplace to serve up healthy dishes and show how consumers can get rewarded for the everyday healthy food choices they may already be making or hope to make in the future.
To anchor the campaign, we created a video that showed the chef in his natural environment, interviewing him on topics ranging from what he cooks for his toddler and teenager, to the best piece of advice his father gave him.
